Sheree A. Davis

Sheree joined Sandifer & Associates in June 2022. Sheree has had the opportunity to experience a very diverse practice of law in both state and federal court.

Prior to joining the firm, Sheree was an Associate Attorney at a civil litigation firm where she concentrated her practice in the areas of Federal Employers Liability Act (FELA), Medical Malpractice Litigation, Toxic Tort Defense, Employment Law, Long-Term Care Law and Litigation, and State, Local and Municipal Law and Litigation. Sheree has also served as an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Illinois, representing the interests of the State in both state and federal civil rights cases involving prisoners. Prior to that, Sheree served as an Assistant State’s Attorney (“ASA”) for St. Clair County, Illinois, prosecuting traffic & misdemeanor cases, juvenile justice cases involving abuse and neglect, and cases involving juvenile offenders. As an ASA, Sheree also managed the special assignment of handling all petitions requesting to expunge and/or seal criminal records in St. Clair County.

While in law school, Sheree proudly served as the President of the Black Law Students’ Association at Saint Louis University School of Law for two consecutive years, through which she competed nationally in the mock trial competitions.

Sheree serves as a worship leader and children’s church music facilitator at her local church. She is also a Co-Founder of a non-profit organization, The Pratcher-Davis Foundation, whose mission is to Conquer Struggles and Cultivate Scholars by providing the resources needed to help low-income students thrive in their pursuit of higher-education. The Pratcher-Davis Foundation places emphasis on the students of East St. Louis, Illinois. Sheree is also a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. (East St. Louis Alumnae Chapter).

Sheree is a true servant at heart, whether it is serving her community, her family, or her clients. Sheree has always approached the practice of law understanding that attorneys are society’s professional problem solvers who advocate for people during some of the most challenging times in their lives. Because of that, regardless of what capacity she’s served in, Sheree has been sure to be a knowledgeable, bold, and compassionate advocate for her clients, who is well-prepared, reliable, creative and can communicate effectively. Sheree has had the pleasure of representing many types of clients, including individuals, corporations, municipalities, and government entities. Her charismatic and diligent advocacy has not only brought about great results for her clients but has also allowed Sheree to develop and maintain great trust and relationships with the clients she’s served and the colleagues she’s served alongside.
